Background
No Shortcuts Design Inc. consists of two graphic designers, Ko Kimura and Tomoko Moriyama, both have total 20 years of experience in Japan and Canada. Addition to graphic design, Ko has extensive marketing and management experience as a director of importing/retailing company in Canada. Tomoko has worked as an art director in marketing-creative division at a major advertising agency in Japan. She received 3 advertising industry awards during the time. In 2008, we decided to start our own design firm that fully reflects our vision in Canada.
Our Design
Japanese art and culture had a great influence to our sense of colour and space handling. We learned the importance of visual communication in multicultural society from experiencing art, culture and public design in North America. We listen to our clients, study clients’ business thoroughly, and take no shortcuts on our design process. These are the reasons why we can deliver elegant and effective designs to our clients.
